RECYCLE superstore Savers Australia has
leased the former Retravision showroom at 79-83 Maroondah Hwy Ringwood in
Melbourne's east.
Savers Australia which is part of the Nonprofit Alliances and supports Diabetes Australia and the National Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Council of Australia, has leased approximately 1,900 sqm.
There is onsite parking for 45 cars with rear loading facilities. The total land area is approximately 3,430 sqm and is zoned Business 2 under the Maroondah Planning Scheme.
Joseph Carbone of Vinci Carbone Property negotiated the deal on behalf of the owners who are locally based investors.
Savers have entered into a new 10-year lease. The asking rental was in the order of $350,000 per annum plus outgoings.
Carbone said the property has significant frontages to Maroondah Hwy and Seymour St, which provides an interface with the Ringwood shopping centre, formerly Centro shopping centre.
‘The location is further boosted by the recent development of the new Costco store which is nearing completion and the $500 million planned refurbishment of the Eastland shopping centre to be undertaken by QIC’, Carbone said.
